Loop Holes considers the ways in which systems remain open, allowing forms and marks to continually evolve. Each painting develops its own internal logic while preserving the conditions for change. The paintings evolve through a process of return and revision, where each new decision remains in conversation with what came before.

While abstract, the paintings echo processes found throughout the natural world: growth, diffusion, accumulation, migration, and transformation. Meaning emerges through relation rather than representation, through the interaction of parts rather than the depiction of things.
