Cut/Construct brings together Joey Bates and Jordan Clark, two artists whose work is shaped by cutting, layering, masking, and assembly.

Clark constructs paintings through layered color, physical movement, and repeated acts of masking and revealing, drawing from architecture, design, and the built environment. Bates transforms hand-cut paper into intricate sculptural arrangements, building botanical forms that hover between delicacy and intensity. 

Across paint and paper, the exhibition looks at how surfaces are opened, interrupted, and rebuilt.
